SIOUX FALLS, S.D. — Former South Dakota Gov. Bill Janklow said Friday that he’s dying of brain cancer but that he’s undergoing experimental treatment that he hopes will save him.
Janklow, a Republican who dominated South Dakota politics for more than a quarter- century, said the cancer is aggressive and he’s preparing to undergo treatment at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minn.
