Traffic at the intersection of South University Boulevard and Belleview Avenue is down to a single lane this afternoon after a water main break.
The roads are not expected to completely reopen until Saturday morning.
Denver Water responded to a leak on a 30-inch conduit at the intersection at about 3 p.m.
University Boulevard is down to one lane in each direction.
While Denver Water makes repairs, drivers are encouraged to use caution and use alternate routes.
Water service to homes and businesses should not be affected by the repairs.
Full repairs will be scheduled in a few weeks, and the public will be notified ahead of time.
