Eleven Japanese-American veterans were among the World War II veterans honored last week with the Congressional Gold Medal.
They were: George Joe Sakato, James Yamane, Sam Terasaki, Alfred Watada, Isamu Abo, Goro Sakaguchi, Tatsuo Matsuda, Carl Kinoshita, Joseph Maruyama, Tom Koshio and Haason Yanaga
