The Denver City Council on Monday chose not to offer any amendments to the 2012 budget after much speculation that Councilman Chris Herndon was going to try to make a change to increase the hours of a handful of libraries in poor sections of Denver.
Herndon, however, chose not to introduce the amendment, and the council on Nov. 14 will vote on whether to adopt the 2012 budget as it stands.
