Police are investigating who fired a gun or guns at an apartment building in Colorado Springs late Sunday night.
A tenant of the Pine Creek Apartments in the 800 block of Chapman Drive reported gunfire hitting an apartment at about 11 p.m. Another tenant reported hearing four shots.
Colorado Springs police officers found that one round hit the sliding glass door of an apartment where a family, including children, live, but no one was injured. Officers said it was not clear whether the shooting was targeted or random.
Witness reported hearing a vehicle speeding away from the scene, but could not provide information about it.
