Award- winning investigative reporter Tony Kovaleski is leaving 7News, his base for a decade, to take a job in his hometown, at KNTV in San Jose, Calif.
Kovaleski will be chief investigative correspondent at the station, which is building a large investigative unit. Comcast, which owns NBC-owned and -operated stations, including KNTV, has stated its commitment to invest in investigative journalism.
