A home under renovation in Fort Collins caught on fire Thursday night; no one was injured, but the home was damaged.
The fire broke out about 5:15 p.m. at 4018 Capstone Court, according to a Poudre Fire Authority media release.
When firefighters arrived, flames on the front porch was spreading up the walls and into the attic of the two-story home.
Firefighters searched for people inside the home but found none.
The structure sustained “significant” exterior fire damage, along with damage to the attic, but firefighters were able to keep flames out of most of the interior. There was, however, smoke and water damage to living spaces.
The owners have not been living in the residence, where renovations were underway.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
