Tennessee’s family-owned FITS Socks Co. has been knitting socks in the same hosiery mill since 1902, giving the company 99 years of expertise in designing the perfect fit. Despite their southern roots, the company makes a darn good ski sock, the latest of which was designed with input from Denver’s Lee Kinney, owner of The Custom Foot.

One of the West’s premiere custom bootfitters, Kinney told FITS designers his perfect ski sock would have snug fit in the toe, mid-foot and heel with extra cushion in the shin. FITS’ Kinney-inspired Light Ski Sock offers a deep heel pocket and a slightly padded, contoured shin that keeps it snug high up the leg, not bunching in your boot.
