When the Colorado Nonprofit Association was formed 25 years ago, “I don’t think any of us could have predicted how important a role it would play,” says Randy Stith, chief executive of the Aurora Mental Health Center, one of the first to join the CNA.

Stith and 250 others were at The Curtis Hotel recently to celebrate the role the CNA has played in helping the state’s 19,000-plus nonprofits thrive. “The CNA,” adds Rick Gabrielson, a vice president with the Denver Dumb Friends League, “has provided invaluable support and professional guidance to organizations like ours from its beginning right up to today.”
