MOSCOW — A Russian Soyuz rocket blasted off in Kazakhstan on Monday morning, beginning a two-day trip to ferry three astronauts to the international space station. The launch, carrying an American, Daniel Burbank, and two Russians, Anton Shkaplerov and Anatoly Ivanishin, is the first trip into orbit by astronauts since the last shuttle flight. The Soyuz TMA-22 is scheduled to dock with the space station on Wednesday.
