Those who think they are “Young and Invincible” can attend a panel discussion by that name Wednesday in Denver to learn how new healthcare laws affect them.

The event is from noon to 1 p.m. in room 320 of the Tivoli Student Union’s section C at the Auraria Campus near downtown Denver.

The talk focuses on the Affordable Care Act’s provisions for those 19 to 25 years old.

The panel includes Steve Monaco, executive director of the Health Center at Auraria: Serena Woods, director of strategic engagement for the Colorado Consumer Health Initiative; and Ezra Watland, who represents the U.S. Department of Health and Human Service’s regional office.

The discussion is organized by Know Your Care Colorado, a nonprofit that educates citizens about the sweeping, controversial healthcare law passed in March 2010 to help insure an estimated 30 million Americans.
