NEW YORK — Facebook said Wednesday it has stopped most of the spam that flooded many users’ pages with pictures of graphic sex and violence. The attack tricked users into clicking on links by offering free plane tickets or a fun new video, for example, said Vikram Thakur, security-response manager at Symantec. Clicking on the link took users to a page that asked them to copy and paste a line of malicious code into the address bar of their Web browser. The Associated Press
