SNOWMASS — Season passes will be valid when Snowmass ski area opens early for the season, starting Saturday, Aspen Skiing Co. announced Thursday.
Skico will open 160 acres of terrain at Snowmass, including portions of the Big Burn. Lift tickets will be $59 for adults, $54 for youths and seniors, and $49 for children. Discounts are available for multi-day tickets.
A full-season pass will be honored for the entire early opening period, Saturday through Wednesday. The Flex and Double Flex passes, which are good for one and two days, respectively, can be used on the opening weekend, then the new week starts Monday, according to Skico spokesman Jeff Hanle. In other words, a Double Flex passholder could ski or ride Saturday and Sunday, then starting Monday would have two more days available for Nov. 21-27.
Classic Pass extension days are $32 for adult passholders and $22 for children. Pricing is valid for Saturday through Wednesday only. Tickets, extensions and validations will not scan as valid after Wednesday.
