The Colorado Supreme Court has set Dec. 1 as the date to hear an appeal by Douglas County and Republicans over congressional redistricting.
The court said Thursday that it will hear oral arguments at 11:15 a.m. in the Capitol’s Old Supreme Court Chambers. Each side will have 30 minutes.
Douglas County and a group of plaintiffs representing Republicans announced Wednesday that they were appealing Denver District Judge Robert Hyatt’s decision last week to use a Democratic map setting new congressional district lines.
