PORT HUENEME, Calif. — The U.S. Navy says its largest test of alternative fuel was a success, with the safe arrival of a ship powered by a mix of algae-based fuel and petroleum. The Paul F. Foster, a decommissioned destroyer, arrived Thursday morning at the Naval Surface Warfare Center at Port Hueneme after traveling 17 hours from San Diego in the test.
