Police have released a composite sketch of a suspect who groped a woman Thursday night near the University of Denver campus in the latest of a series of assaults.
The incident happened around 9:15 p.m.
Police said a woman walking south in the 2000 block of South High Street was accosted by an unknown male, who grabbed her from behind and squeezed her buttocks, then fled.
Police said the victim described the suspect as being a white male approximately 19 years of age, 5 feet 8 inches tall, with a thin build, wearing a charcoal-gray hooded sweatshirt with black stripes down the arms. There have been at least four assaults near campus recently in which a man has tried to fondle women who were either walking or jogging alone.
