DENVER—The suspected ringleader of an Aspen cocaine trafficking ring may be changing his not-guilty plea.

The Aspen Times reports () that 65-year-old Wayne Alan Reid’s attorneys filed a notice of disposition Friday in the U.S. District Court in Denver, signaling Reid would change the not-guilty plea he entered in June.

Reid was among 10 defendants indicted by a Denver federal grand jury in April. Drug Enforcement Administration officials considered Reid the primary figure in the network they said ran high volumes of cocaine between Aspen and Los Angeles for 15 years.

Besides Reid, the only remaining Aspen defendant yet to settle his case is 61-year-old Jack Fellner, who is scheduled to go to trial in February.
