  •  Spectra Logic, a Boulder-based provider of data storage solutions, announced that CERN, the European Organization for Nuclear Research, is evaluating Spectra Logic tape library technology. Spectra’s T-Series tape libraries were installed in CERN’s laboratory in July to store data copies from its Large Hadron Collider multi-national scientific project.

  •  Earthstone Energy Inc. announce the divestiture and sale of its Antenna-Federal property in Weld County to an unrelated third party for $6.25 million.

  •  Wingstop has opened its newest Denver-area restaurant at 1255 E. 1st Ave. in Broomfield. Aaron Zipp and Tye Olsen, owners of the franchise, plan to open three additional locations in Northwest Denver over the next two years.

  •  During the month of September, Sill-TerHar Motors donated $100 for every vehicle sold to the local charity of the buyer’s choice. By the end of the month the dealership donated nearly $20,000 to 76 charities.

  •  Colorado Garden Show Inc. announced that Bellco will be the title sponsor the 53rd Annual Colorado Garden & Home Show Feb. 11-19 at the Colorado Convention Center.

  •  MD-IT, a Boulder-based provider of medical documentation software and service to ambulatory clinics and physician groups, announced that Transcription Unlimited of Independence, Mo., has signed on as an affiliate partner, allowing them to offer the MD-IT Platform and EMR to their physician clients.

  •  Denver Mattress Co. announces its 12th annual Operation Rest Assured charity campaign with The Salvation Army Intermountain Division. Between Thanksgiving and Christmas, Denver Mattress will match every dollar donated to the Salvation Armies up to $150,000 in Denver, Colorado Springs, Grand Junction and Pueblo, as well as San Angelo, Texas.

  •  The University of Denver’s Daniels College of Business announced that Andy and Barbara Taylor made a gift of $5 million — which will be added to the already-established Taylor Scholarship endowment — supporting scholarships to foster diversity among undergraduate students.
