FORT COLLINS, Colo.—Fort Collins police say an officer responding to a report of a man with a gun has shot and injured a man.
Police spokesman Matt Johnson told the Coloradoan ( ) shots were fired at 2:10 p.m. Friday near College Avenue and Myrtle Street. Other details weren’t immediately released.
Shortly before the shooting, police were in the area investigating the report of two men fighting.
The officer involved in the shooting has been placed on routine, paid administrative leave.
