A man fell nearly 70 feet this morning while trimming a tree near Fourth Street and Forest Avenue in north Boulder.

Boulder police and fire spokeswoman Kim Kobel said the man was working in a bucket truck for Taddiken Tree when the accident happened.

The man, whose name has not been released, was taken to Boulder Community Hospital.

Kobel said she did not know how serious the man’s injuries are. He was conscious but in significant pain when paramedics arrived on scene, Kobel said.
