An 80-year-old woman missing since Monday afternoon was found tonight and she’s safe, the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office stated this evening.
The agency sent out a region-wide alert earlier today seeking help finding Catherine Massaro.
She had been expected home from her cleaning job at 3 p.m. Monday.
Authorities said he had a recent history of forgetting where she is going while driving and getting lost. On one of those occasions, she was found as far away as Wyoming.
No details were released about Massaro’s whereabouts until tonight.
