Eagles (4-7) at Seahawks (4-7)
Kickoff: 6:20 p.m., NFL Network
The skinny: When Jeff Fisher and the Titans parted ways in the offseason, the Eagles’ Andy Reid became the longest-tenured coach in the NFL. And in the 2 4/7 news cycle that is a world with social media, Reid now is hearing calls that his job is on the line. Things have unraveled in a big way for the Eagles, who will play this game without quarterback Michael Vick (ribs), wide receiver Jeremy Maclin (hamstring, shoulder) and cornerback Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie (ankle). They must hope for the best for running back LeSean McCoy (toe) and cornerback Nnamdi Asomugha to be in uniform on a short week. McCoy enters the week as the league’s leading rusher (1,050 yards).
The difference will be: How the Eagles adjust without their leading passer (Vick), leading rusher (McCoy) and leading receiver (Maclin). If Philadelphia can get anything going in spite of all that, including a coast-to-coast trip on a short week, the Seahawks may not have the offense to keep up. Seattle has scored 17 points or fewer seven times this season. Wide receiver Sidney Rice, second on the team in catches with 32, is not expected to play.
The call: Eagles 23-17.
