CHICAGO — Sheriff’s deputies served eviction papers to an Illinois woman who is accusing GOP presidential candidate Herman Cain of sexual harassment, officials said Wednesday.
The papers were served to the 13-year-old son of Sharon Bialek of Glenview on Tuesday evening after officials tried but failed to serve the woman earlier in the day, said Frank Bilecki, a spokesman for Cook County Sheriff Tom Dart. Sharon Bialek was not at home then, Bilecki said.
The owner of Bialek’s townhouse began the eviction process after Bialek failed to pay $7,500 in back rent, Bilecki said.
Attempts to reach Bialek on Wednesday night were unsuccessful.
