Longtime Larimer Square women’s boutique Mariel is leaving the shopping district and moving to Cherry Creek North, most likely in March.
Store owner Denise Snyder said that while she’s sad about leaving the area where she’s been in business for 28 years, she’s looking forward to attracting new customers to the space that will also house a separate bridal store.
Joe Vostrejs, chief operating officer of landlord Larimer Square, said Snyder and his office could not reach a lease agreement.
Snyder’s new place, at St. Paul Street and East Third Avenue, is where Paul Garcia had his hair salon for several years before moving to another space in Cherry Creek.
