A pedestrian was hit and killed on Colorado Boulevard at Interstate 70 late this afternoon.
The exit ramp and southbound lanes of Colorado Boulevard are closed following the accident at about 5:15 p.m.
The man’s name and age have not been released.
Denver police spokesman Sonny Jackson said the man was hit by at least one car and possibly two. Both drivers stopped, he said.
“Unfortunately, there’s not a pedestrian crosswalk in that area, so it appears he was walking into traffic,” Jackson said.
