Monument police and the U.S. Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives are looking for a group of burglars who took “numerous” weapons from a local gun store early Thursday.

Surveillance photos show three men breaking into Tri-Lakes Shooting Supply at 481 E. Colorado Highway 105 in northeast Monument at about 4:30 a.m.

While the men were in the store, at least one woman remained in a dark sedan outside. The group should be considered “armed and dangerous,” Monument police said.

Anyone with information is asked to call Monument police at 719-481- 3253, the ATF at 719-473-0166 or the ATF hotline at 800-283-4867.
