DENVER—A woman accused of trafficking thousands of pounds of cocaine into Colorado has been set free after she was sentenced to time served for helping prosecutors.

Veronica Garcia testified against fellow gang members in four murder trials and helped convict Willie Clark for the 2007 murder of Denver Broncos player Darrent Williams.

According to the Denver Post (), U.S. District Judge Christine Arguello told Garcia she was very brave and wished her luck.

Garcia served nearly 36 months in custody and was released about a year ago on supervision.
