OAKLAND, Calif. — A fugitive has been charged with murder in the death of a protester last month near the former Occupy Oakland encampment outside City Hall, police said Friday.
Norris Terrell, 20, is awaiting extradition to California after being arrested Sunday in Lexington, Ky., in the Nov. 10 slaying of Kayode Ola Foster, 25. Foster had been staying at the protest camp in Oakland for about two weeks, police said.
