The New Mexico Spaceport Authority board unanimously approved plans for a vertical launch complex at the Las Cruces facility.
The $3 million complex is part of the spaceport’s phase-two construction. Spaceport America recently received a $250,000 federal grant to help pay for some of the new infrastructure.
