The room just off the entrance to the Governor’s Residence at the Boettcher Mansion in Denver features a Christmas tree and other decorations, it was revealed during a holiday tour for the media Monday.
The decoration theme this year, selected by first lady Helen Thorpe, is titled “Holiday Heritages.”
The decorations represent various cultures, including Irish, Asian, Jewish, American Indian and others, all put together by Denver artist Karen Bozik.
Free public tours to begin
The Governor’s Residence at the Boettcher Mansion will be open to the public for free holiday tours from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday through Dec. 16. The weekend tours also include free holiday music. For details, visit or call 303-866-3682.
