Colorado junior guard Chucky Jeffery was named the Pac-12 women’s basketball player of the week Monday after scoring 56 points in victories over San Francisco and Idaho.
Jeffery, from Sierra High School in Colorado Springs, had a career high with 26 points against USF and then broke that record with 30 against Idaho.
It was the second weekly all-league honor for Jeffery. She was named Big 12 freshman of the week on Jan. 11, 2010.
