Jackson Hewitt Tax Service Inc. has signed an agreement to operate in about 2,800 U.S. Walmart stores this upcoming tax season, including 48 in Colorado.
The number represents a 40 percent increase from last year, when Jackson Hewitt had a presence in about 2,000 Walmart stores.
Overall, Jackson Hewitt plans to have 6,500 U.S. locations open, with 105 of those in Colorado, spokeswoman Melissa Connerton said.
