MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Donte Poole connected on a career-high six 3-pointers and scored 20 points as Murray (Ky.) State remained undefeated with a 76-72 victory over No. 21 Memphis on Sunday night.

The Racers (10-0) took control early, then had to weather a late Memphis rally to hold on for the victory. Murray State was up 71-60 with just under 2 minutes left before Memphis (5-3) scored eight straight points to make it a one-possession game.

The Tigers trailed 73-72 with 14 seconds left. But Isaiah Canaan, who had 15 points, connected on two free throws with 7.9 seconds left and the Racers remained one of only nine teams in Division I still undefeated.

Ed Daniel finished with 13 points and nine rebounds for Murray State and Ivan Aska had 12 points.

No. 16 Alabama 62, Detroit 54

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. — JaMychal Green scored 21 points as the Crimson Tide (8-2) rebounded from a two-game losing streak.

Tony Mitchell added 15 points and freshman Nick Jacobs chipped in 13 in his first start for the Crimson Tide, which returned to a more characteristic defensive form after losses to Georgetown and at Dayton.

No. 24 Illinois 80, Coppin St. 63

CHAMPAIGN, Ill. — D.J. Richardson scored 20 points to lead four players in double figures as the Illini (10-0) hung on to remain one of nine undefeated teams in the nation despite the Eagles’ hot shooting and pesky 2-3 zone defense.

Nebraska-Kearney 72, Regis 60

KEARNEY, Neb. — The Lopers (4-3, 2-2 RMAC) scored nine straight to start the second half and never let the lead get under double digits the rest of the way in their victory over the Rangers (3-5, 0-4).

No. 1 Baylor 73, St. John’s 59

NEW YORK — Brittney Griner had 17 points, 13 rebounds and six blocked shots to lead the Lady Bears in the Maggie Dixon Classic.

Brooklyn Pope scored 19 points to lead the Lady Bears (10-0), who have a showdown with No. 2 Connecticut on Dec. 18.

No. 7 Tennessee 84, No. 20 DePaul 61

NEW YORK — Glory Johnson scored 16 points and Cierra Burdick added 15 to lead the Lady Vols (5-2) to to win in the Maggie Dixon Classic.

Denver 89, Oregon 65.

Kaetlyn Murdoch moved into sixth on DU’s all- time scoring list with 21 points to lead the Pioneers (7-3) over the Ducks (7-2).

Quincey Noonan added 16 points, Morgan Van Riper-Rose had a career-high 15 points, and Morgan Shell added 13 points as Denver recorded its highest point total of the season.

Emiko Smith had nine of DU’s 24 assists.

Colorado State 73, Maryville-St. Louis 35

FORT COLLINS — Kim Mestdagh shot 5-for-7 beyond the arc and 6-for-6 for free throws to finish with 23 points in the Rams’ (3-7) convincing win. Mestdagh moved up two spots to sixth for CSU all-time scoring with 1,401 points.

Regis 56, Nebraska-Kearney 37

KEARNEY, Neb. — The Rangers women outrebounded the Lopers 49-29 and shot 46.2 percent from long distance in their third RMAC victory of the season.
