Last year was so rife with powder days it seemed Copper Mountain would nix a second year of its wildly popular $99 Snow Day Pass, which provides free skiing every time the Summit County hill logs 4 inches of fresh snow. Last year, that equated to more than 30 days and one of the best ski deals of all time. Undaunted, Copper Mountain is offering the Snow Day Pass again at $99. Surely that’s a sign that 30-plus powder days are on the way. Even if it doesn’t snow a drop, the pass is good for two days — Super Bowl Sunday and closing day — and two $69 tickets.
