Employers in the Denver-Aurora area expect to hire at a steady pace during the first quarter of 2012, according to the Manpower Employment Outlook Survey.
From January to March, 16 percent of the companies interviewed plan to hire more employees, while 9 percent expect to reduce staff.
Another 70 percent expect to maintain their current workforce levels and 5 percent are not certain of their hiring plans. That’s a slight decrease from the fourth quarter but an uptick from a year ago.
