DENVER—Denver-based Battalion Resources Holding LLC says it has closed on its acquisition of J.M. Huber Corp. oil and gas properties in the Powder River Basin.
Privately held Battalion Resources didn’t disclose terms of the transaction.
President and Chief Operating Officer Keith Knapstad said in a written statement Wednesday that the acquisition will allow the company to add scale and enhance operational efficiencies.
The Powder River Basin is in northeastern Wyoming and southeastern Montana.
