DENVER—Weather forecasters say a few mountain snow showers are still possible Thursday, but expect the weather to be cool and generally dry.
On Wednesday, Silverton Mountain in southwest Colorado reported 16 inches of fresh snow at the ski area within the past 24 hours and Wolf Creek Ski Area reported 11 inches.
Powderhorn said it had a foot of new snow. Thursday is Powderhorn’s opening day.
