Getting your player ready...

With the league’s No. 2 passing attack on the way, Broncos coach John Fox was glad to get some reinforcements in his secondary today.

Cornerback Andre’ Goodman (concussion) and safety Brian Dawkins (neck) took part in this afternoon practice on a limited basis. It improves their chances of playing against the Patriots’ high-powered offense.

“We need as many able bodies as we can get and obviously they’re a very worthy opponent,” Fox said.

New England quarterback Tom Brady has topped 300 yards passing eight times this season and the Patriots often use a no-huddle look on offense.

Fox said Goodman has been cleared by the team’s medical staff after a series of tests to check for post-concussion symptoms.

“Typically they don’t let you practice unless you do,” Fox said.
