The Colorado Music Hall of Fame announced its next two inductees Thursday, and storied rock promoter Barry Fey and legendary acoustic-music champion Harry Tuft will make up the hall’s second class.
Fey and Tuft will be recognized with a Hall of Fame dinner at the Del Ward Athletic Center on the University of Colorado at Boulder campus Feb. 12 at 3 p.m.
Fey was a powerhouse promoter in the West best known for his work with Led Zeppelin, the Who and later U2. Tuft is a local musician best known for forming the acoustic-centric Denver Folklore Center nearly 50 years ago.
Tickets to the dinner, priced at $75 to $175, are on sale at Pasta Jay’s in Boulder and Lone Tree, Twist & Shout and the Denver Folklore Center. A portion of the proceeds will go to the Hall of Fame, which is inside the 1stBank Center in Broomfield and benefits the CU School of Music.
