CENTENNIAL, Colo.—Jurors have convicted a man of inappropriately touching a boy in a bathroom of a Target store in Sheridan.
An Arapahoe County District Court jury convicted 38-year-old David Lee Rigoulot this week of sex assault on a child and false imprisonment.
Prosecutors say that in October 2010, he entered a bathroom stall that an 8-year-old boy was using and touched the boy’s genitals. The boy told his mother what happened, and store security officers and Sheridan police used surveillance footage to identify the suspect.
Rigoulot had admitted to being in the bathroom stall with the boy but denied touching him.
He could face up to life in prison at a sentencing hearing set for Feb. 23.
