ASPEN, Colo.—The Aspen Skiing Co. raised its lift ticket price on Friday, back to its highest in history.
A walk-up, single-day ticket is now $104 for any of SkiCo’s four mountains. That’s slightly lower than Vail, which is charging $105 for the last-minute purchase.
SkiCo spokesman Jeff Hanle told the Aspen Daily News that he couldn’t say whether prices would rise again in coming weeks ( ). Hanle said focusing on the single-day lift ticket is unwarranted since most people buy in advance.
SkiCo raised the single-day ticket price from $99 to $104 last season over President’s Day weekend, where it remained for the remainder of the season.
