Aurora police on Friday arrested a doctor they believe was the driver in the Dec. 3 hit-and- run that killed 55-year-old Aurora resident Gregory Havers.
Dr. Franck Armand Belibi, 40, of Centennial was allegedly behind behind the wheel of a gold 2007 Toyota Sequoia that struck Havers as he attempted to cross the street near South Havana Street and East Mississippi Avenue at 7:45 p.m. Debris left at the scene of the crime allowed the Aurora Police Department to locate and impound Belibi’s vehicle Dec. 7.
According to public records, Belibi is an assistant clinical professor at the University of Colorado in Denver and president of Grace Health Clinic in Aurora.
