Ice age fossils found at Ziegler Reservoir near Snowmass Village a year ago will be featured in a short, illustrated article in the February issue of National Geographic.
The discoveries also will be in the spotlight Feb. 1, when Rocky Mountain PBS airs “Ice Age Death Trap,” a one-hour program that follows scientists as they unearth well-preserved specimens from giant, extinct beasts.
