Colorado on Monday learned Kory Rasmussen, a standout defensive lineman from Hawaii, committed to play for the Buffaloes football team next season, according to reports on recruiting sites. He is CU’s eighth defefensive lineman commitment.
Rasmussen, a 6-foot-3, 255-pound tackle from Kamehameha High in Honolulu, was a top-10 prep recruit in Hawaii and an all-state choice. He landed on CU’s radar after attending a Buffs summer camp in 2010.
He also got scholarship offers from Utah, Washington, Hawaii and Arizona, according to .
CU’s commitment list for next season includes as many defensive lineman as the team will return from last season.
