JOHNSTON, Iowa — Rick Santorum picked up a key Iowa endorsement Friday. Iowa Secretary of State Matt Schultz became the first Republican statewide officeholder to endorse a candidate in the presidential primary. “I tend to like the underdog,” said Schultz, who won his own come-from-behind campaign in 2010. “And slow and steady wins the race.”
