Boulder Community Hospital this year took a few nips at its grand, $130 million plan to expand its Foothills campus.
The parking lot gained 75 spaces, efforts progressed on the administrative offices within the Tebo Cancer Center and groundbreaking activities took place for a new outpatient services facility.
In 2012, the hum and hubbub from the construction activity should grow dramatically as the lion’s share — about $70 million — of the work is expected to get underway.
The construction and planning activity in 2012 “will set the course for the remaining years” of the project, said Ron Secrist, president of the Boulder Community Hospital Foundation.
