COLORADO SPRINGS — Josh Thorimbert made 20 saves, and Colorado College scored twice in the second period to beat Union 2-1 in college hockey Saturday night.
After a scoreless first period that saw both goalies make eight saves, Colorado College’s David Civitarese and Nick Dineen scored in the second to stake the sixth-ranked Tigers (12-6-0) to a two-goal lead.
