A woman who was brutally attacked by two dogs is asking the owners of the animals to come forward.
The attack, which happened in an Aurora neighborhood near Buckley Air Force base, sent three people to the hospital on Friday, including Margi Stout.
Stout said she was released from the hospital on Saturday. Her dog Boo, a Havanese, is still at a veterinarian’s office being treated for puncture wounds and severe bites. Stout said she and her dog will make a physical recovery, but said the emotional damage is already done.
On Saturday, two dogs were found dead about 12 miles away from the neighborhood, apparently hit by a car along E-470. Police believe those were the dogs from the attack.
