The Colorado Avalanche Information Center is warning of dangerous conditions in the backcountry after a telemark skier triggered a large avalanche near Winter Park.
Spokesman Scott Toepfer said the skier was partially buried Sunday afternoon and was rescued by a friend who was skiing with him.
