But ask the 13-year-old singer where she’s from and she’ll proudly set the record straight: She’s from Mead.
Residents of the “little town with a big future” — the Mead motto — will get to meet the town’s most famous resident when Crow participates in a meet-and-greet event in her honor at 1 p.m. today at town hall, 441 Third St.
Crow made it to the top five in “The X Factor,” a singing competition created by Simon Cowell, who became her mentor.
